Changing Our Individual and Collective Relationship With Money
An Open Letter From Kerry Cudmore
Dear friends,
I
frequently remark "If you want to create a really intimate relationship
with someone talk to them about their relationship with money." And this is exactly what I have been doing throughout 2009!I began the Spiritual Finance Initiative
in January of this year, providing scholarship to anyone who wanted to
change their core relationship with money, regardless of their ability
to pay. This year I have taught nine groups filled with wonderful
individuals. Groups that participated in five classes over an eight
week period. I have taught all over Massachusetts and more recently
taught classes in Auburn, Washington.I
believe that money can be one of our greatest teachers. It certainly
has been one of mine. And now, through this Initiative and my
relationship to it, it is teaching me to ask for help. The vision I
have and the commitment I've made require that I do this. Asking for
help has never been easy for me, but I am getting better.In
this spirit, and while taking a good deep breath, I ask you for your
help, and in particular for your financial contribution to this
Initiative.I
cannot do this alone. In order for this Initiative to thrive it will
take the support of many. People who are equally invested in changing
our individual and collective relationship with money...
